Program Director/Engineering Technology
Turtle Island Restoration Network (TIRN) is seeking a Program Director for the Engineering Technology Associate of Applied Science Degree program at Galveston College. The Program Director will be responsible for launching the new program, recruiting students, hiring faculty, developing curriculum, and ensuring the program's quality.

Qualification
Required
Hold at least a bachelor's degree (from a regionally accredited institution) in engineering or have a related master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in an engineering technology-related discipline
Experience with PLCs, CAD, robotic technician, troubleshooting, and programming
Previous teaching experience required
Strong communication skills (written and oral)
Interpersonal and organization skills
Team-oriented
Ability to meet deadlines
Advanced computer skills
Aptitude to ‘think outside the box' and to work collegially and collaboratively with others
