Responsibilities
Design and implement control systems for in-house equipment and automation, including hardware specifications, electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials
Develop, program, and maintain automation solutions across PLCs, HMIs, robotics, drives, and industrial networks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance automation for both new and existing processes and equipment
Evaluate equipment performance, efficiency, and utilization to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
Partner with Maintenance teams to troubleshoot, support, and optimize existing systems as needed
Create and maintain clear operating, setup, and maintenance documentation to ensure reliable and consistent equipment operation
Qualification
Required
5 years minimum experience with manufacturing controls
Proficiency with 2D CAD software
PLC & HMI programming
Working knowledge of VFD drives and servos
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards
Familiar with machine safety standards
Mechanical aptitude
Preferred
Robotic Programming
3D CAD
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Machine Vision
