Senior LevelNet2Source (N2S) is seeking a Sr.Data Ontologist to develop and manage ontologies and taxonomies. The role involves creating metadata inventories, indexing data assets, and collaborating on naming standards for data products.

Responsibilities
Create an inventory of metadata across various metadata systems
Index/tag data assets with tags (e.g. domains, subdomains, source)
Collaborate on and implement new naming standards for data products in Databricks
Qualification
Required
Ontology, taxonomy, and controlled vocabulary development
Classification/indexing
Knowledge of W3C semantic web standards: SKOS, RDF, OWL
Data catalog analysis and metadata best practices
Metadata standards: ANSI/NISO Z39.19-2005, Dublin Core/DCMI, SCHEMA.org, ISO familiarity
Experience with taxonomy and knowledge management tools such as Synaptica Graphite, PoolParty, Semaphore, etc
Ideal candidate would have background in library or information science
