IT Support Specialist
Sofidel S.p.A. is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to join their team in Hattiesburg, MS. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person
Trouble shoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications
Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions
Document support activities and maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions
Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex problems
Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT equipment and software
Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT best practices and software usage
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of IT support or helpdesk experience
Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
Familiarity with common software applications and troubleshooting techniques
Basic understanding of networking concepts and hardware
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
CompTIA A+ or similar certification is a plus
