Responsibilities
Design, code, test, debug, and document web applications using Java, JSP, and Servlets
Utilize the Spring Framework to manage business logic, data persistence, and application configuration
Conduct thorough unit and integration testing using frameworks like Junit
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
Collaborate with product owners and QA to deliver end-to-end features
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design
Analyze and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs in existing systems
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security across all components
Maintain documentation and support production incidents when required
Qualification
Required
Strong fundamental understanding of Core Java concepts, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and standard libraries
Hands-on experience developing dynamic web interfaces using Java Server Pages (JSP) and managing server-side logic with Java Servlets
Strong fundamental understanding of HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Hands-on experience with Spring Framework
Experience with SQL databases or NoSQL databases
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and Maven or Gradle
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and clean code practices
BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
