Marketing Communications Specialist
Responsibilities
Develop engaging social media posts, graphics, and short-form videos aligned and Canals branding and messaging
Write clear, concise, and compelling copy tailored for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter)
Manage content calendars and schedule posts using approved tools
Ensure timely publishing of content for campaigns, events, and announcements
Monitor social channels for comments and messages; escalate as needed
Support engagement strategies to foster positive interactions with audiences
Track performance metrics and provide insights to optimize content strategy
Work closely with Canals marketing teams to align content with organizational goals
Coordinate with internal stakeholders for approvals and compliance
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in social media content creation and publishing
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Meltwater, Sprout Social, Hootsuite)
Basic graphic design and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite preferred)
Understanding of analytics and ability to interpret data for actionable insights
Knowledge of energy, infrastructure, or public sector communications is a plus
Preferred
Creative mindset with ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences
Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive content practices
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
