Responsibilities
Lead end to end development and delivery of mobile and AI and GenAI applications using modern engineering practices
Define mobile and GenAI architecture including modularization, release processes, CI and CD, observability, and platform strategy
Drive AI and GenAI feature development by selecting models, building pipelines, designing evaluation frameworks, optimizing latency, and ensuring responsible AI usage
Guide teams through complex technical decisions, remove blockers, and promote best in class engineering practices
Establish engineering KPIs and quality standards while driving continuous improvement
Own cloud and AI inference cost governance and resource allocation
Manage staffing strategy and talent development across mobile and GenAI engineering teams
Maintain clear technical documentation and provide regular progress reporting to leadership
Translate product strategy into actionable engineering roadmaps, sequencing, and technical tradeoffs
Partner with Product Managers on KPI creation, prioritization, and customer centric decisions
Collaborate cross functionally with Design, Support, Research, Operations, and Marketing
Communicate engineering impacts in clear, business aligned language
Lead, mentor, and grow engineers, senior individual contributors, and engineering managers
Build a high performing culture centered on accountability, collaboration, and engineering excellence
Recognize contributions, develop succession plans, and guide career development
Influence engineering strategy across architecture, security, data, and cloud teams
Present technical strategy and program updates to executive leadership
Drive enterprise level modernization initiatives including mobile platform upgrades, AI adoption, and cloud modernization
Exercise independent judgment in technical strategy, staffing, architectural choices, and delivery commitments
Manage risk, compliance, privacy, and AI governance considerations in decision making
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or a related field
7 or more years of hands on engineering experience with languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript based frameworks, and Python, or equivalent experience
5 or more years building cloud based SaaS applications
5 or more years of mobile development experience with technologies such as Angular, Ionic, React Native, Flutter, or native iOS and Android
5 or more years leading engineering organizations
2 or more years delivering AI and GenAI applications including model integration, evaluation, RAG, and deployment
Proven track record delivering mobile or AI powered products at scale
Familiarity with modern LLM providers and tooling such as Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, LangSmith, and vector databases
Preferred
Experience with reliability engineering, automated testing, CI and CD, APM and observability, and performance optimization
Experience working with security, privacy, and AI governance requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics for technical and non technical audiences
Demonstrated success leading architectural modernization initiatives
