Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain SAP MES environments (ME/MII/DMC) across Dev, QA, and Production
Fine-tune system health at the application (NetWeaver), database (HANA/Oracle), and OS levels to ensure real-time manufacturing uptime
Set up and troubleshoot critical interfaces between MES and SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA) and third-party shop floor systems
Lead upgrades, patch applications (Support Packs), and system copies while coordinating with business stakeholders to minimize downtime
Administer users and authorizations, ensuring sensitive manufacturing data meets strict compliance standards
Qualification
Required
5+ years of SAP Basis Administration experience
Proven experience supporting SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution) or SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence)
Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, JVM layers, and SAP HANA or Oracle databases
Familiarity with SAP PCo (Plant Connectivity) and integrating SAP with PLCs/SCADA systems
Experience with system backups, Disaster Recovery (DR) testing, and Solution Manager (OSS)
