Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory compliance, and the preparation of financial reports
Develop and maintain accounting policies
Oversee daily financial operations
Manage budgets and forecast financial performance
Work closely with leadership to drive financial strategy
Ensure timely and accurate reporting and adherence to relevant financial regulations and best practices
Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience in similar role: Senior Accountant, Controller, or Public Accountant
CPA license required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field
Deep understanding of US GAAP, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting requirements
Tax and audit experience required
Strong knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks (both desktop and online versions)
Prior experience with inventory accounting and cost of goods sold in a manufacturing or multi-location retail setting
Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks
Proficient in all Microsoft Office 365 applications (advanced Excel skills)
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Strong business acumen with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion
Must pass criminal background check and drug screening (excludes THC)
Preferred
