Responsibilities
The installation and repair of all machinery / equipment
Organizing and implementing preventive maintenance programs
Maintaining compliance with EPA record keeping and reporting
Controlling and improving the plant's repair / maintenance spending
Maintaining an effective maintenance management system and repair parts inventory control system through eMaint and JDE
Developing a repair and maintenance budget
Assists EHS manager when needed on applicable permits and regulatory compliance
Assists in development and implementation of the annual capital project budget
Providing technical recommendations and implementations for continuous improvement in plant production processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related Technical Discipline)
5-10+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment preferred
Strong mechanical, electrical and manufacturing process skills/experience
Must have experience supporting and leading Lean manufacturing activities
Analytical skills and understanding of problem-solving techniques/tools
Data-driven, disciplined, objective and detail oriented
Strong communication skills. Demonstrated ability to act as a business partner, 'see the big picture,' and work through ambiguity and change
Advanced computer knowledge with MS Office applications (Excel, Access, etc) and other computer tools and software and a working knowledge of AutoCAD
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship
Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
