Responsibilities
Lead extrusion projects from concept through commercialization
Translate customer application requirements into manufacturable, value-added plastic extrusion solutions
Act as the technical bridge between customers, Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing
Manage new extrusion projects using formal project management tools and NPI processes
Drive new profile development, timelines, resources, and deliverables
Partner with Sales to provide technical design support for new and existing customers
Develop CAD drawings and specifications for extrusion profiles
Select and apply thermoplastic materials based on application and performance needs
Plan and execute product testing and validation activities
Provide ongoing technical support throughout the product lifecycle
Collaborate with customer engineering, purchasing, and quality teams
Support ISO / QMS requirements and internal quality procedures
Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical/science field
3+ years of experience in manufacturing, plastics, or extrusion environments
Project management experience in a manufacturing setting
Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout an 8–10 hour shift
Up to 15% travel required
Regular, reliable attendance required
Preferred
Experience with thermoplastics strongly preferred
Lean / Continuous Improvement experience a plus
