Responsibilities
Monitor network devices and alerts, and troubleshoot link or circuit-related issues
Have basic understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP
Have basic knowledge of VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and other Layer 2 technologies
Work with ServiceNow for handling tickets and incidents
Maintain and update documentation, including:
Knowledge Base (KB) articles
Network diagrams
Configuration documents
Troubleshooting guides
Provide technical support and resolve network-related issues
Basic knowledge of Cisco UCS servers will be helpful
Basic knowledge in technologies like Kubernetes will be an added advantage
Qualification
Required
3 to 6 years of experience
Must be willing to work in a 24×7 shift environment
Work is strictly from the client location that is in Research Triangle Park, NC
Basic understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP
Basic knowledge of VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and other Layer 2 technologies
Work with ServiceNow for handling tickets and incidents
Maintain and update documentation, including Knowledge Base (KB) articles, network diagrams, configuration documents, and troubleshooting guides
Provide technical support and resolve network-related issues
Preferred
Basic knowledge of Cisco UCS servers
Basic knowledge in technologies like Kubernetes
