This role involves close collaboration with system design, product, and development teams to ensure high-quality releases across integrated platforms.

Responsibilities
Partner with system design, product, and development teams to build system-level test and validation plans
Collaborate on feature and functionality definitions
Translate product and system requirements into test cases using BDD/TDD methodologies
Drive adoption of best-in-class testing practices
Provide technical expertise and risk assessments during design, test planning, and quality reviews
Design and execute system-level test plans, including manual and automated testing
Provide regular QA status updates and maintain detailed test execution records
Work with cross-functional teams to identify, track, and resolve defects throughout the SDLC
Maintain QA metrics and dashboards and identify opportunities for quality improvements
Manage multiple concurrent projects and coordinate efforts across engineering teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
8+ years of experience as a System Integration Tester / Release Test Engineer
Strong experience with test and defect management tools such as Zephyr and JIRA
Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins to support DevOps deployment processes
Experience testing large-scale, multi-tiered systems, SOA, and cloud-based platforms
Solid understanding of modern web application architecture, including decoupled modules and independent subsystems
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple objectives simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Basic understanding of networking concepts: modems, switches, routers, firewalls
Preferred
System engineering and system integration experience
Telecommunications domain experience
Scripting experience with Python or Ruby
Working knowledge of databases, including SQL and NoSQL
