Compliance Manager
BCS Supply Chain Search is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead and enhance the organization’s Quality Management Systems and regulatory compliance programs. The role involves ensuring adherence to industry standards and driving operational excellence within calibration and inspection processes.
Responsibilities
Lead implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of QMS programs and accreditations including ISO 9001:2015 & 17025
Drive integration of compliance requirements into product development, including development and maintenance of required documentation, forms, and procedures
Represent the company during customer audits, quality inquiries, and regulatory reviews
Develop and manage strategies to improve response times for customer compliance inquiries through effective planning and tracking tools
Partner with Supplier Quality Engineering to monitor vendor compliance responses and provide guidance to ensure timely, accurate submissions
Manage the Compliance Requests Planner and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and responsiveness
Oversee in-process and final inspections of mechanical, metal, and composite materials, parts, and assemblies using precision measurement tools
Coordinate with Calibration Lab Managers to address equipment, quality, and operational needs
Audit calibration activities to identify process deviations and ensure adherence to established standards
Develop and maintain uncertainty budgets, repeatability testing, and proficiency testing programs for calibration laboratories
Ensure intermediate checks and statistical validation of measurement standards and processes
Support Engineering in evaluating and implementing new calibration methods and procedures
Design and evaluate SOPs related to calibration asset management and uncertainty analysis software
Develop or collaborate on work instructions for automated inspection programs and manual inspection processes
Apply statistical analysis to improve measurement accuracy, reliability, and operational performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field, or 8+ years of relevant experience
Minimum 5 years of experience with ISO 17025 and ISO 9001:2015 quality systems
Minimum 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
Strong understanding of uncertainty evaluation and measurement process analysis
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%
Preferred
Experience in calibration and metrology (force/torque and pressure preferred)
