Intern - Audit Research
The City of New York is committed to promoting the financial health and integrity of its government. The intern will work with the Audit Research Unit to review audit ideas, assist in the research and development of audit topics, and perform other related duties.

Reviews audit ideas from various internal and external sources
Assisting in the research and development of audit topics
Perform other duties and assignments as may be required
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program for the Fall 2026 semester
Matriculation at an accredited college
Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in college
As of June of the Program year the prospective intern must be a student matriculated in a college or be a recent college graduate (winter/spring term of the Program year)
This position is ideal for college students pursuing majors/minors in the fields of Economics, Political Science, or Management
Preferred
Ability to evaluate information from multiple sources and draw logical and persuasive conclusions
Strong oral and writing communication
Familiarity with Excel and Word
