Operations Engineering Manager
Web Industries is seeking an Operations Engineering Manager to lead and direct technical resources in the development and implementation of continuous improvement programs. This role involves building an effective engineering team and infrastructure to support the company's growth and meet key performance goals.

Responsibilities
Leads dispersed, multi-site operations engineering team efforts with responsibilities in the following areas: 1. Configuration management and creation of product specifications (BOM, drawings etc.), quality plans, manufacturing methods, work instructions, risk assessments, other documentation. 2. Driving continuous improvement efforts through standardized lean approaches and tools. Assist operations leadership team with establishment of annual goals and identification of key projects. 3. Coordinate with Applications Engineering on NPI to ensure the efficient and effective release of new programs to manufacturing. 4. Collaborating with Web Industries’ compliance organization to ensure QMS compliance through creation of control plans and auditing programs. 5. Assisting with advanced system troubleshooting and programming, using each available opportunity to develop maintenance team skills in this area. 6. Collaborating with Web Industries’ training organization to define and approve training materials to ensure compliance to customer specifications and best practices. 7. Assisting Engineering team with the design and validation of new equipment, products, software, and processes
Supervise, communicate, coach, mentor, and motivate engineers and technicians around requirements, duties, vision, values, safety, and strategy
Demonstrating business savvy: 1. Actively listen for internal/external customer needs and clearly communicate capabilities in a way that confidently and accurately addresses the customer’s business issues. 2. Identify needs and tailor responses and solutions to build Web Industries’ value proposition. 3. Stay aware of general business issues such as cost, inventory, profit and loss, risk, speed, competition, and market leadership
Travel to support the Fort Wayne IN and Dayville, CT plant. Also travel for site leadership, industry events, supplier interaction, and additional team needs: ±50%

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering / technical discipline. Relevant equivalent work experience will be considered
Minimum of 10 years in related work experience with demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team of engineers or other technical staff
Experience leading development and execution of process engineering / continuous improvement strategy in Industrial and Consumer products
