Dive into building new generation of heat assisted magnetic recording (HAMR) technology. Unleash your creativity and technical skills on new designs
Collaborate with our top-notch engineering team for new technology development - be part of solving complex puzzles!
Develop and manage a sophisticated database for collecting and communicating engineering data your work will be crucial for our decision-making process

Qualification
Required
Current BS or MS Student in an Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027
A tech enthusiast with a burning passion for innovation and problem-solving
Excellent communicator, ready to collaborate with a diverse team
Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to real-world projects in a meaningful way
Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in MATLAB, Python, SQL, Excel, and or other data analysis tools
Located within driving distance of our Irvine office
Right to work in the US without requiring Western Digital to commence or sponsor an immigration case to employ you
