Responsibilities
Understanding the requirements and convert them into business processes on Appian platform
Good hands on experience on creating SAIL, Expression rules, Process models, CDT's, Sites and Integrating Appian with external systems
Expertise in creating Appian Records, Reports, DB views and Stored Procedures
Good understanding on Appian groups, Process design, Security, Decision tables
Possesses good knowledge on Appian and Database best practices
Work with global teams, including business users, architects, technical personnel, to understand business processes and system requirements
Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical groups, both internal and external parties
Should be able to work as independent contributor or a team member
Develop scalable Appian applications using Process Models, SAIL, Data Fabric, Record Actions, and Connected Systems
Re-platform applications from older technologies (like MS Access, VB) to Appian
Collaborate with Lead Architects on design, contributing to technical documentation (ERDs, design docs)
Integrate Appian with other systems and databases, handling data migration
Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines, promoting DevOps best practices
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Ensure robust testing, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high-quality standards
Work with BAs and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in Design and Development of applications using Appian BPM platform
Understanding the requirements and convert them into business processes on Appian platform
Good hands on experience on creating SAIL, Expression rules, Process models, CDT's, Sites and Integrating Appian with external systems
Expertise in creating Appian Records, Reports, DB views and Stored Procedures

Experience with enterprise integrations and CI/CD
Problem-solving and technical documentation skills

Appian Level 1 / Level 2 Credential preferred
Must Have – Appian Case management System Experience
