The Transmission Facilities Development Internship offers students hands-on experience in engineering calculations, data analysis, and project development under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

Support development engineering team in the conceptual design and developing scopes of work

Perform engineering calculations and data analysis to support project development

Perform data analysis and implement process improvements

Assist in preparing technical documentation, reports, drawings, and presentations

Participate in project scope reviews, team meetings, and project planning activities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Follow established engineering standards, safety procedures, and company policies

Qualification

AutoCAD3D designElectrical analysis softwareAnalytical skillsProblem-solving skillsTechnical documentationEffective communication

Required

Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program in junior year or has completed junior year and will be starting senior year

Preferred

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, 3D design or electrical analysis software

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and data

Effective written and verbal communication skills
