Responsibilities
Have model changes to be used in the manufacturing areas to produce parts, in the same way to provide maintenance of the machines in the company
Verify that the first piece of the shift is processed correctly by the machine
Check that the welding, parameters and dimensions are correct
Inspect workpieces for defects, and measure them to determine accuracy of machine operation, using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments
Start machines and turn handwheels or valves to engage feeding, cooling, and lubricating mechanisms
Select, install, and adjust alignment of drills, cutters, dies, guides, and holding devices, using templates, measuring instruments, and hand tools
Move controls or mount gears, cams, or templates in machines to set feed rates and cutting speeds, depths, and angles
Set machine stops or guides to specified lengths as indicated by scales, rules, or templates
Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary
Set up and operate machines, such as lathes, borers, millers, drills, or auxiliary machines, to make metallic and/or plastic workpieces
Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling or cleaning machines, dies, or workpieces, or adding coolant to machine reservoirs
Perform the maintenance of the company's machinery
Maintain and comply with the procedures of your existing area
Qualification
Required
Degree/Diploma obtained: Technical Degree
Program of study: Technical electromechanical, mechanical technician or related
IN CASE OF NOT COVERING SCHOOLS, YOU MUST COMPLY 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN THE SAME POSITION
