Responsibilities
Executing design tasks within cross-functional teams to create distinctive experiences for clients and teammates
Participating in design programs to define insights and advocate for client needs through visual design
Designing and delivering high-fidelity artifacts across a variety of digital environments
Applying deep knowledge of design standards and industry guidelines to push beyond conventional solutions
Partnering with business owners and technical teams to understand and meet organizational goals
Using storytelling techniques to build trust with partners and rationalize design decisions
Qualification
Required
Expert-level application of industry and discipline standards within applicable design software, specifically Figma
The ability to clearly articulate design rationales to influence decision-making
Excellent time and issue management skills, with the ability to execute ideas from concept to completion
A strong ability to give and accept critique and coaching to improve the final product
2+ years in the field with a portfolio that demonstrates artifact creation and execution
Preferred
Experience designing for financial or complex commercial systems
A working knowledge of Agile and engineering/development processes
Comfort working within a self-directed culture where project paths may not be fully defined
