Qualification
Required
PhD in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related engineering or science discipline
Ability to teach existing courses related to the candidate's discipline
A strong publication record and the potential to succeed in securing research funding and mentoring students
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred
Areas of expertise include advanced air mobility, aircraft design, propulsion, and flight mechanics
College-level teaching experience
Teaching experience in an online environment
Evidence of research experience in educational pedagogy
Experience with active military and veterans
Past work experience in a national research lab and/or industry
Experience with ABET
Experience or training in student mentoring
Record of interdisciplinary collaboration
