Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines
Build and optimize data models for analytics and reporting
Integrate data from multiple sources (structured and unstructured)
Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across systems
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers
Implement data security, governance, and compliance best practices
Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance and failures
Document data architectures, workflows, and processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field
3–8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
Strong experience with SQL and relational databases
Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Scala
Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
Active TS/SCI

Preferred

Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
Knowledge of DevOps / CI/CD practices
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with data governance and security standards
Prior experience supporting government or enterprise-scale systems
