Site Support Technician
Vaco by Highspring is seeking a friendly, hands-on Field Service Technician to provide onsite IT support across multiple healthcare centers in Birmingham. This role serves as the primary in-person technical resource for staff, ensuring reliable operation of hardware, software, and connectivity that supports daily care delivery.
Responsibilities
Deliver onsite technical support for end users across assigned locations
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues
Image, configure, install, and replace desktops, laptops, and peripherals
Communicate clearly with local staff and the broader IT team
Maintain accurate documentation, prioritization, and follow-up on support requests
Adhere to IT standards, security policies, and healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA/CMS)
Travel locally between sites as part of weekly support coverage
Qualification
Required
Experience providing hands-on IT field support or technical troubleshooting
Strong customer service, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license
Professional, business-casual presence
Preferred
Healthcare IT or HIPAA familiarity (Bonus)
