Customer Support Specialist

Russell Tobin is hiring Customer Support Specialists to support a leading financial services organization. In this role, you will handle inbound customer inquiries and resolve customer issues while delivering world-class customer service.

Responsibilities

Manage customer escalations and complaints professionally and in accordance with company policies and standards
Handle high-volume inbound calls and complete outbound follow-ups (callbacks, responses, etc.) to maintain service levels and queue performance
Take ownership of customer issues and collaborate with internal teams, partners, and vendors to drive timely resolution
Utilize negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills to resolve issues within scope, escalating when appropriate
Identify root causes of customer complaints by analyzing trends and recommending process or product improvements
Serve as the voice of the customer by sharing feedback and advocating for solutions that enhance the customer experience
Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to address operational or process gaps impacting customers
Accurately document all customer interactions and maintain data integrity within internal systems
Follow established escalation and complaint tracking procedures to ensure visibility and resolution
Leverage internal tools and knowledge resources to provide accurate information and identify policy or process gaps

Required

1+ year of customer service and/or contact center experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working onsite and adhering to a fixed schedule

Preferred

Candidates from high-volume customer-facing environments, including: Call Center / Contact Center, Retail, Food Service / Hospitality, Cashiering, Dispatch, Banking / Financial Services, Any role involving heavy customer interaction
