Responsibilities

Lead the central PMO, establishing consistent governance, standards, and reporting across all projects
Oversee execution of complex programmes to ensure delivery meets scope, quality, and organisational objectives
Manage interdependencies across multiple business units, proactively identifying risks and ensuring smooth coordination
Develop and embed programme and project management processes aligned to recognised best practice
Own clear, consistent status reporting and communication across senior stakeholders
Drive project reviews, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across delivery teams
Ensure all PMO activity aligns with audit and compliance expectations, including SOX requirements
Build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of programme managers, project managers, and business analysts
Partner with delivery teams in related business units to align on standards and elevate delivery maturity

Qualification

PMO leadershipStakeholder managementProject management methodologiesCompliance experienceProject management certificationsCollaborative leadershipCommunication skills

Required

Strong commercial experience leading PMO or central project functions within a large, technology‑focused organisation
Proven capability delivering complex programmes with cross‑functional teams and multiple stakeholder groups
A deep understanding of project and programme methodologies such as PMI, Agile, or Prince2, and the ability to embed best practice
Strong communication skills, with confidence managing executive stakeholders and delivering clear reporting
Experience operating in compliance‑driven environments, including integration of SOX or audit controls into delivery processes
A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to coach, influence, and elevate delivery capability across the organisation

Preferred

Relevant project or programme management certifications are beneficial
