Responsibilities
Perform detailed analysis on existing nuclear products and components
Conduct recalculations to updated specifications, including fatigue-related evaluations for license renewal programs
Focus primarily on mechanical analysis, with secondary work involving concrete and structural steel evaluation
Support complex engineering tasks related to design verification, development, testing, field execution, and resolution of quality events
Independently review engineering deliverables, risk assessments, apparent cause analyses, and FMEAs
Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, customer standards, and government regulations
Qualification
Required
Have worked in the nuclear space
ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section III
ANSYS for structural, fatigue, and (ideally) thermal analysis
Experience performing fatigue analysis
Stress analysis, engineering codes, and nuclear‑sector requirements
Preferred
PE license - not required but strongly preferred
