Responsibilities
Build and evolve PraxisIQ's Intelligent Document Processing practice and framework
Lead end-to-end technical implementation of intelligent document processing solutions
Design and deploy AI/ML models for document classification, extraction, and validation combining traditional IDP with modern LLMs
Architect confidence-based routing systems for automated vs. human-assisted processing
Establish evaluation frameworks and metrics for LLM-based document processing performance
Implement performance monitoring dashboards and KPI instrumentation
Establish quality assurance frameworks and validation protocols
Design scalable architectures that support enterprise-wide deployment
Manage risk mitigation strategies for document format variability and data quality
Execute knowledge transfer to client teams with comprehensive operational playbooks
Provide technical leadership in client governance meetings and Agile ceremonies
Contribute to and enhance the PraxisIQ IDP framework for reusable, scalable customer deployments
Qualification
Required
8+ years deploying and optimizing AI/ML models in production environments
Strong proficiency in Python
Experience with vector databases and embedding models
Familiarity with generative AI and large language models (LLMs)
Solutions architecture for scalable AI systems with real-time monitoring and feedback loops
Model deployment, tuning, and performance optimization in production environments
Quality assurance frameworks and validation protocol design
Experience deploying AI/ML workloads in AWS (preferred)
Experience designing systems that scale from proof-of-concept to enterprise production
Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar)
Experience with Agile development methodologies and sprint-based delivery
Rapid prototyping and iterative development practices
AWS Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional
Other relevant AI/ML certifications (e.g., Google Cloud ML Engineer, Azure AI Engineer)
Preferred
Experience designing systems that scale from proof-of-concept to enterprise production
AWS Machine Learning - Specialty (preferred)
Deep expertise in OCR technologies, document classification, and unstructured data extraction from variable-format documents
Experience with confidence threshold management, exception handling, and intelligent routing logic
Proven track record implementing LLM-based document understanding and extraction pipelines
Strong understanding of evaluation metrics and benchmarking for LLM document processing accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 scores
Healthcare: Medical billing workflows, insurance documentation (EOBs, claims, medical records), payer variability, and healthcare data processing
Financial Services: Financial document processing (invoices, statements, trade confirmations), regulatory compliance, and financial data standards
Legal: Contract analysis and extraction, clause identification, legal document management, and compliance requirements
