Responsibilities
Work closely with Project Support Supervisor and Coordinator and Supply Chain Coordinator
Email supplier for quotes, file and update
Work with Supply Chain to ensure materials get ordered/delivered in time to meet buffer/delivery dates
Change Order quoting
Minor Purchasing/PO Revisions
File POs, BOL, Tracking, and Proof of delivery for all purchase orders
Assist with vendor set up process
Communicate effectively and respectfully with peers, management and suppliers at all levels
Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of 3rd parties
Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity
Works with purchasing team members to ensure that all material purchases are being processed and are scheduled for timely delivery
Qualification
Required
Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school with 3 years relevant experience is preferred (High School diploma along with 3 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of two-year degree)
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is required
Must have excellent communication ability within all levels of the company
Preferred
General knowledge of Microsoft Access is preferred, but not required
Prior experience within an Engineering, Project Management, or Logistics function within the Electrical Utility industry is highly preferred
Strong background in Customer Service is highly preferred
