Responsibilities
Spend approximately half of the role in hands-on development, primarily building and maintaining front-end applications using Vue.js. The role also requires a willingness to contribute to Java and SQL development as needed, with full ownership of code quality and maintainability
Lead code reviews and collaborate closely with team members to validate functionality and ensure readiness prior to release
50% hands on coding / 50% technical and team leadership
Support and participate in testing efforts to maintain high standards for quality, usability, and reliability across web applications
Operate within two-week sprint cycles and quarterly planning cadences using a Scaled Agile framework. Partner with stakeholders, product owners, project managers, developers, and subject matter experts to align business objectives with technical execution
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, including conducting monthly one-on-one meetings with assigned developers
Qualification
Required
BS in Computer Science or a related field
Previous experience in a technical leadership or team lead role
Proven ability to work directly with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and refine requirements
Strong experience with Vue.js or a similar modern JavaScript framework
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Understanding of backend Java development and SQL
