Principal Enterprise Architect
Largeton Group is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to influence and shape IT digital strategy while providing tactical architectural direction. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to establish technical standards and manage technical strategy, ensuring best practices for system design and application development.

Responsibilities
Influence and shape the IT digital strategy and provide tactical architectural direction
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and leadership to establish technical standards, reference architectures, design patterns, and decision frameworks
Develop and manage technical strategy, ensuring best practices for system design, infrastructure integration, and application development
Oversee architecture review processes, including checklist creation, artifact review, and providing domain-specific guidance
Lead organizational change for cloud adoption and promote appropriate use of cloud services
Design solutions that meet operational requirements for scalability, security, reliability, and more
Research emerging technologies; develop proofs of concept and recommend robust and cost-effective technologies
Identify and incorporate new technologies, industry trends, and best practices into enterprise policies and roadmaps
Translate business strategy into technical strategy and define end-to-end architectures
Drive evaluation and selection of third-party software, including SaaS, and design standard application configurations
Develop and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts such as standards, reference architectures, and capability maps
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
7+ years of IT experience, with minimum 5 years in relevant enterprise architecture roles
Prior experience as Principal Architect or Head of Enterprise Architecture in a global organization
Experience developing technology strategies and working with domain and solution architects
Expertise in architecture review, process improvement, and enterprise architecture methodologies
Strong technical writing and documentation skills
Deep hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying business software at scale
Strong background in technology infrastructure, cloud computing, storage, and virtualization
Experience with API management, microservices, service mesh, and application performance management
Experience migrating systems from monolithic to microservices in the cloud
Knowledge of enterprise identity and access management solutions
Ability to adopt and influence new trends like GenAI/Agentic AI within EA frameworks
Strong communication skills for presentations across multiple levels (IT, business leadership, architects, developers)
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent
Enterprise Architecture Certification (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, Gartner)
3-5 years of Enterprise Architecture and AWS experience
Airline industry experience
