Responsibilities
Creates, tests cases based on provided requirements
Prepares test setups
Executes test cases based on analysis of system enhancements
Conducts regression testing with every new build
Creates and logs defects
Defects reporting
Identifies operational implications of enhancements
Researches and resolves Production Support cases
Interacts with development on doubts and issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent field
0+ Years Experience with test strategies, test plans, and test cases
Experience in writing SQLs to query the backend during the test execution
Expertise in testing web-based applications and web services-based systems with minimal to no user interface
Knowledge of QA methodologies and concepts
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is necessary
Experience application lifecycle management tools such as HP ALM and JIRA
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Fair knowledge of different phases of test lifecycle
Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
Basic understanding of mobile development languages (JAVA, Objective-C, Swift, C#)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be a self-starter and able to learn new technology quickly
Preferred
Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education
Experience in Microsoft Office products
