Responsibilities

Lead a medium-scale program, impacting all corporate-level processes and procedures. Strong tactical decision-maker, handles unforeseen, unexplored issues
Manage one or more medium-scale, established programs with generally-defined program plans and delivery methodologies
Is accountable for overall program process, performance, and customer satisfaction
Participate in establishing program objectives, timelines, milestones, and budgets
Develop new policies and procedures that affect program management
Typically has budget accountability for one or more programs
Program decisions are generally recommended to higher level management
Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
Manage the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products
Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
Monitor the project from initiation through delivery
Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients

Qualification

Required

Requires a Bachelors degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Preferred

Bachelor's/Advanced Degree in Science, Engineering or Project Management
Requires prior experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment
Project Management Professional (PMI/PMP Certification) highly preferred
Prior experience managing projects in a pharmaceutical, medical device, combination products, or other regulated industry
Effective planning and organization skills including the proven ability to work against multiple objectives simultaneously
Excellent knowledge of systems including Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Autocad
Experience translating communicated ideas into robust project plans
Ability to establish and maintain a trusted role with the various stakeholders in coordinating multiple functions across the organization
