Program Manager for Campus Ministry

Responsibilities
Act as a strategic advisor on short-term and longer-range projects, department matters, and vision planning
Facilitate and integrate the department’s various planning efforts
Recommend and coordinate policies, programs, and practices in university-wide and division-wide committees/task forces
Advance the implementation of key strategic initiatives by aligning divisional and departmental goals and fostering collaboration within Campus Ministry, across the Division of Student Affairs, and throughout the University
Support the AVPCM in the administration of the Leadership Team by creating agendas and designing meeting materials for all levels of the department
Manage and coordinate all processes related to recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new staff members
Coordinate and oversee all internal department functions related to finance, budgets, payments, communications, administrative tasks, etc
Serve as the primary contact and liaison to University Relations on all benefactor, gift, and stewardship matters
Provide strategic oversight and direction for Campus Ministry areas, emphasizing planning and assessment through the development and use of tools and metrics that evaluate program effectiveness and alignment with divisional and departmental learning outcomes
Lead and oversee special projects as assigned by the AVPCM
Advance new initiatives and review current programs and practices within the department
Manage strategic internal and external relationships on behalf of the AVPCM
Serve as a Campus Ministry representative on divisional and University-wide committees, meetings, and projects, as needed
Participate as an integral member of the Division of Student Affairs and the Campus Ministry area, interacting and collaborating with colleagues throughout the Division of Student Affairs and serving in various capacities as needed with other departments and areas
Qualification
Required
Master's degree with 3 to 4 years of experience preferred
Demonstrated commitment to the University's Catholic identity, mission, and values
Proven ability to research issues and problems, identify possible remedies, and facilitate the implementation of preferred solutions
Strong background in internal and external collaboration and engagement (University partners, students, faculty, parents/families, external stakeholders, etc.)
Experience in, or a high level of comfort with, strategic planning, data analysis, technology, or a related field
Demonstrated ability to build strong teams and influence outcomes across organizational lines
Experience as a senior leader or advising a senior leader of an organization on issues of policy and confidential matters
