Responsibilities
Build, configure, and manage Active Directory domain controllers
Join controllers to domains and cleanly remove/separate controllers
Manage and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and recover Active Directory outages
Understand, optimize, and maintain AD replication
Patch, harden, and maintain domain controllers
Support and resolve virtualization-related challenges for AD components
Develop automation and tooling using scripting
Qualification
Required
Expert-level PowerShell scripting and working knowledge of Python
Strong, hands-on understanding of domain controller internals
Experience virtualizing Active Directory–related applications
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex AD issues end-to-end
Extensive background in fully on-prem Active Directory environments
Broader infrastructure experience is a plus, with primary focus on AD depth
