Responsibilities
Lead and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close in accordance with GAAP
Own inventory accounting and costing in a seasonal fashion/apparel environment
Oversee cash flow, working capital, budgeting, and forecasting
Develop, maintain, and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
Manage and mentor the accounting team, supporting growth and professional development
Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, operations, and supply chain leadership
Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
Evaluate systems and processes (NetSuite, Avalara) and drive improvements to support scale
Provide ad hoc analysis and support strategic initiatives as the business grows
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience within CPG, retail, or apparel
Strong background in inventory accounting and cost management
Proven experience leading and developing accounting teams
Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, consumer-facing environments
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
Proficiency with NetSuite, Avalara, and Excel
