Responsibilities
Design and deploy Windows server environments
Manage Azure AD / Entra ID and cloud services
Lead system upgrades, migrations, and modernization efforts
Administer virtualization platforms
Maintain system stability and security
Perform backup and recovery operations
Provide advanced (Tier 2/3) technical support
Automate with PowerShell
Develop and maintain documentation
Participate in on-call rotations and operational monitoring
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on Windows system engineering or enterprise administration experience
Strong experience with Azure AD/Entra ID, Office 365, and Azure IaaS/PaaS services
Proficiency managing Hyper-V, VMware, and virtualized enterprise environments
Applied expertise with Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
Strong PowerShell automation experience
Experience with SCCM, Intune, imaging, scripting, and endpoint management tools
Ability to design, document, and implement secure, scalable infrastructure solutions
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and performance optimization skills
Experience leading upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure enhancements
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and ability to manage competing priorities
U.S. work authorization + valid driver's license (TWIC required)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree
