Responsibilities
Prepare monthly GAAP and Statutory financial statements and reconcile general ledger activity
Complete NAIC quarterly and annual filings, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
Establish and monitor accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial analysis
Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
Coordinate with auditors, actuaries, and consultants
Evaluate accounting systems and support process improvements
Assist with payroll/HR accounting and special projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA required
~10+ years progressive accounting experience
Insurance accounting experience (Statutory & GAAP)
Background in financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance
Strong analytical, systems, and process improvement skills
Preferred
MBA preferred
