They are currently hiring a Jr. Structural Engineer/Designer to work under the supervision of a Senior Structural Engineer, focusing on structural loading criteria, design calculations, and producing construction documents.

Responsibilities

Determine structural loading criteria, perform complex design calculations, and prepare structural specifications
Perform field investigations and document findings
Work closely with other engineering and architectural disciplines
Produce construction documents using Revit (BIM)
Review shop drawings, respond to RFI's and perform field observations during CA phase

Qualification

Bachelor of Science in Civil EngineeringEngineering in Training CertificateConcrete design experienceSteel design experienceAutoCAD proficiencyRevit proficiencyStructural engineering softwareField investigation skillsTeam collaboration

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with structural coursework
Engineering in Training Certificate (E.I.T.) required
1 to 5 years of experience with concrete, steel, masonry, and/or wood design is required

Preferred

Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and structural engineering design software (RISA, SAP, and/or TSD) is preferred
