Responsibilities

Follow all safety rules and adhere to core value of business
Maintain general work areas and/or equipment used in a clean and orderly condition
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment, machines or other devised used in the normal course of the work performed
Ensure proper and effective operation of machine and tools throughout entire process
Report repairs and/or issues to team lead or supervisor
Conduct vibration testing on industrial fans
Mount fan on test block, or suitable fixture, to perform temporary electrical hook up
Accurately monitor and record vibrations
Complete corrective actions to meet production standards
Utilize overhead crane to move fans in and out of test booth
Advance completed component(ss) to the appropriate staging area for next steps in the manufacturing process to ensure customer on time delivery
Specific to division 5, utilize balancer program (SKF) to achieve balance within specifications. Weight may be added to fan blade with MIG welding applications or removed by grinding material off with angle grinder
Review orders to confirm materials and proper assembly
Monitor quality of own work and report to supervisor defective material, unusual conditions and operating difficulties
Refer test and/or test procedure issues to the department supervisor
Ensure all parts and surfaces are free from defects
Accurately document work performed per defined procedure
Complete all tasks and work within designed time frame and quality guidelines
Desire to do the right thing
Team player, assisting other team members and departments as needed with other duties not routine to position
Punctual, on time, ready to work designated shift, every day

Required

One year manufacturing environment
High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Excellent attendance
Technical capacity
Prior understanding of electricity and assembly
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to clearly articulate data and information
Desire and ability to follow safety instructions
