Accurately input all necessary information from USDH or client-specific requisitions into the laboratory information system
Recognize and appropriately address laboratory information system alerts and flags
Identify and rectify unclear or ambiguous information on requisitions
Actively engage in departmental quality assurance practices
Serve as a resource for colleagues requiring assistance or training
Adhere to all departmental policies and procedures regarding data entry
Recognize personal limitations and seek guidance when necessary
Efficiently manage time to meet daily completion goals
Respect and maintain confidentiality of client and patient information
Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a medical or office setting
Strong typing skills and proficiency with 10-key
Excellent communication abilities via written, verbal, and electronic means
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
Preferred
Experience with EMR systems
