Responsibilities
Advise clients on land use, zoning, planning, and entitlement matters
Manage projects involving CEQA , general plans, zoning ordinances, and development agreements
Interface with city, county, and state agencies
Draft and review entitlement applications, conditions of approval, and land use agreements
Support litigation strategy related to land use and environmental matters (as applicable)
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the development lifecycle
Qualification
Required
5+ years of land use experience at a law firm or government agency
Strong background in California land use law
Experience with entitlements, zoning, permitting, and regulatory approvals
Active California Bar admission (required)
Excellent writing, analytical, and client-management skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred
Familiarity with CEQA is strongly preferred
