Technical Writer
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Technical Writer specializing in AI, Chatbot, and NLP for their Home Loans division. The role involves developing content for chatbot interactions and ensuring documentation integrity while collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain technical documentation.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement updates to agent knowledge content, chatbot flows, and Generative AI prompt libraries
Develop and refine Natural Language Processing (NLP) components, intents, utterances, and conversational flows
Build structured support processes including automated data capture, routing, and decisioning logic
Conduct independent testing of chatbot interactions, agent procedures, and content workflows to ensure clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness
Analyze documentation gaps and process inefficiencies; provide data‑driven recommendations to product and process owners
Review chatbot/agent analytics to identify patterns, optimize content, and improve customer outcomes
Collaborate with SMEs, users, product owners, and business analysts to produce, refine, and maintain technical documentation
Translate business requirements into actionable content or prompt updates for AI and chatbot systems
Edit and validate content developed by other teams following the Knowledge‑Centered Services (KCS) model
Ensure all content adheres to organizational writing standards, compliance requirements, and best practices
Communicate significant changes to knowledge base content, chatbot flows, and AI services across the PenFed organization
Maintain documentation governance and version control to ensure consistency across platforms
Qualification
Required
Strong expertise in technical writing, structured content development, and editing
Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), conversational AI, intents, and utterance design
Familiarity with Generative AI prompt engineering, LLM-based content generation, and conversational flows
Strong understanding of Knowledge Management frameworks—especially KCS (Knowledge-Centered Services)
Ability to analyze performance metrics, logs, and usage data from chatbot or agent systems
Strong understanding of financial services, especially home loans, mortgage processes, servicing workflows
Ability to test, validate, and QA content behavior within AI/chatbot environments
Preferred
Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
Experience with chatbot platforms, conversation design tools, or AI workflow builders
