Responsibilities
Define site requirements and baseline deployment schedules
Monitor project spend and manage purchase orders
Identify bottlenecks to mitigate project delays
Secure electrical permits and local zoning approvals
Direct electrical contractors during infrastructure builds
Validate charger functionality and code compliance
Update leadership on milestones and procurement status
Manage site host and utility provider expectations
Analyze completed builds to optimize future workflows
Qualification
Required
Several years of experience in telecom/fiber-optic construction project management, particularly in outside plant (OSP) fiber deployments
Demonstrated ability to manage construction crews and subcontractors, with a track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget
Strong skills in project planning, resource allocation, and budget control
Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
In-depth knowledge of fiber-optic network construction methods and infrastructure (including aerial and underground fiber builds)
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Able to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams, and convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Solid understanding of construction safety practices and OSHA regulations; must exemplify a strong commitment to jobsite safety at all times
