Robot Programmer
Solid-3 Engineering is a people-first automation and integration company supporting the automotive industry. They are seeking experienced Robot Programmers as well as motivated individuals looking to break into the automotive automation industry, focusing on programming and supporting industrial robots in manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
Program, debug, and support industrial robots in automotive manufacturing environments
Assist with system integration, installation, and commissioning
Support tooling, I/O checkout, and troubleshooting during build and launch phases
Work closely with engineers, electricians, and customers on-site
Follow safety standards and maintain clean, organized work areas
For entry-level candidates: learn robot programming fundamentals and support senior programmers during installs and launches
Qualification
Required
Program, debug, and support industrial robots in automotive manufacturing environments

Preferred
Experience with industrial robots (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, or similar)
Automotive manufacturing or automation experience
Understanding of PLCs, I/O, and basic electrical concepts
Willingness to travel and work off-shift hours when required
Strong work ethic and ability to adapt in fast-paced environments
