Manufacturing Engineer (Operations Engineer II)
Sterling Engineering is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to add a Manufacturing Engineer (Operations Engineer II) to their team. This role supports a high-volume manufacturing environment with a strong focus on process improvement, technical problem-solving, and manufacturing support.
Responsibilities
Support manufacturing processes, tooling, and capital equipment initiatives
Drive Lean and Six Sigma–based process improvements
Support DFMA and New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts
Create and maintain process documentation and work instructions
Support PFMEA, control plans, and engineering changes
Partner with production teams to troubleshoot and improve processes
Participate in project-level continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
~5+ years of manufacturing or operations engineering experience
Experience in high-volume or complex manufacturing environments
