Development and Alumni Engagement Intern

Beber Camp is seeking a Development and Alumni Relations Intern to support various fundraising and alumni engagement initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit development, event management, and alumni relations, while working closely with the Executive Director.

Responsibilities

Reach out to alumni and establish contact through various channels
Assist in gathering historical archives and designing archive areas at camp, including the Sycamore classroom
Coordinate and conduct alumni tours of the camp
Serve as a concierge for dignitaries during the summer season
Assist in preparing for the summer board meeting
Collect and create content for alumni social media platforms
Facilitate camper thank-you note writing activities
Contribute to the design and creation of donor gifts
Update donor contact information and wealth engine
Create and maintain smart board projects, including 10-year camper and staff recognition, I met at Beber and Beber buddies programs
Gather and organize pictures from alumni for various purposes
Provide support for the Year-End Campaign and Impact Report
Along with any other responsibilities that arise during the time of the internship, which are to the skills of the intern and in line with camps needs
Support the Ambassador program by coordinating photos of campers and sending materials to ambassadors
Assist in capturing video content for insurance purposes
Assist in creating staff selling documents, including videos showcasing camp activities
Support Lunch and Learn sessions during the summer

Required

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or a recent graduate
Interest in nonprofit fundraising, event management, and alumni relations
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Outgoing personality with a positive attitude
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Have historical knowledge and connection to Beber Camp
