Responsibilities
Evaluates, researches, and recommends software application upgrades, patches, and new functionalities
Assists management in the design and implementation of new applications, including consulting with functional architects on application design
Works with stakeholders to perform application functionality gap analyses and feasibility studies for application enhancements
Develops and documents complex and in-depth technical design specifications to meet business needs identified through application requirements, user stories, support tickets, and test defects
Delegates tasks to application engineers and provides training and guidance on the design and development of software enhancements
Leads the development of test plans and scripts for functional, performance, regression, and user acceptance testing
Analyzes applications for compliance with security protocols and audit controls
Reviews and resolves escalated incidence management activities
Qualification
Required
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline
Generally 8+ years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 5+ years of experience in a related field
Certification is required in some areas
Preferred
7+ years of experience in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
7+ years of experience in application engineering
Prior experience in a lead or mentorship role
