Responsibilities
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical facility
Control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing and collecting badges and/or passes, processing visitors and contractors, and maintaining accurate entry and exit logs
Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, packages, and/or equipment per post orders, reporting irregularities and potential policy violations to site leadership
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and coordinating with onsite teams and/or first responders as directed
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, gates, and perimeter routes, and complete patrol reports noting conditions, hazards, and/or unusual activity
Qualification
Required
Possess a TSA issued TWIC
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
