Responsibilities

Set up, adjust, and operate converting equipment: die cutters, window patchers, slitters, folders, gluers, and laminators
Read and interpret job tickets, specifications, and production schedules to plan each run
Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production, maintaining registration and adhesive accuracy
Perform routine cleaning, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance to maximize uptime
Inspect finished goods for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
Accurately log production data, waste, downtime, and material usage
Follow all safety procedures, GMPs, and company policies at every step
Partner with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues quickly
Train and assist helper/operators as assigned

Operating converting equipmentMechanical aptitudeReading job ticketsAttention to detailBasic math skills

Required

High school diploma or GED
Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills
Ability to read measuring devices and production specs
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Comfort standing for long periods and lifting materials as needed
Basic math and documentation accuracy

Preferred

1–3 years operating converting or packaging equipment
